Engineered to order

An extended engineering team, for manufacturers and machine builders

We support both manufacturing companies and machine-building OEMs. Space, throughput, formats, specifications and interfaces define the project; mechanics, automation and software are developed as parts of the same system.

Two audiences, one method

Projects for manufacturers. Co-engineering for machine builders.

01 / END USER

Manufacturing companies

We start from the process, formats and line constraints to develop an engineered-to-order machine or system.

02 / OEM

Machine builders

We support OEM engineering teams and machine builders in developing solutions for integration into their machines and systems, working to agreed specifications and interfaces.

Engineering method01—04 / PROCESS
01

Line analysis

We collect specifications, layouts, formats, throughput, process constraints and machine or line interfaces to establish technical feasibility.

OUTPUTPreliminary layout and feasibility analysis
02

Concept and engineering

We develop the concept in 3D CAD and coordinate mechanics, electrical design, automation and machine safety, including within a broader OEM project.

OUTPUT3D drawings and preliminary bill of materials
03

In-house build

Assembly, wiring and tuning take place at the Forpac facility in Parma.

OUTPUTMachine ready for FAT
04

FAT, SAT and documentation

The machine is tested before delivery and verified on site during commissioning. The project closes with as-built documentation and training.

Coordinated capabilities
01

Mechanical engineering

Structures, drives, manipulators and gripping devices designed for the specific application.

02

Electrical and automation

Panels, PLCs, operator interfaces, machine safety and line integration.

03

Robotics

Robotic cells and grippers developed around the product and palletizing pattern.

04

Software and data

Diagnostics, data collection, digital twins and predictive maintenance when included in the project.

Testing

The project continues through commissioning

FAT and SAT verify the machine under the agreed conditions. For OEM projects, acceptance criteria, interfaces and documentation are coordinated with the machine builder.
